All along
this little trail of insects,
instinct and pull
a bigger picture family.
No questions,
only move and doing.
Halting means little ones expiring.
Who’s your Queen?
Who comes First?
If there’s half a piece of inkling
and the glass of doubt is brimming,
you Should Turn
To the one
and empty out the jumble
of these visions of a future.
So days,
so nights
have some predilection
as man and wife,
agree in Rhythm.
Embrace,
then Gate
a duty to some nature.
Hardly ever holding the big picture.
Extend
Out the arms
Hold it by the frame and scan it for its meaning.
It seems
to be
that selflessness is the answer
and only a child ignites that ember.
And watching
a face
aging in a mirror
not seeing the big picture
like the breeze
just beyond
how everything is moving
and none of it will need you
except your little nest
all the one’s who are with you
are the ones who have made you
so extend out the arms
And hang that big picture
of your nestlings and your other.
on a mantle piece.
It would be a mistake to only listen to this during the holidays. I think that this album is a wonderful Brown Bird album on its own and shouldn't be brushed aside just because it's a Christmas album. I don't even like Christmas music, but this is fantastic. Keej
