Who's the one who's saying open wide?
Is solved in centuries of feeding time.
Children wincing and stretching for it,
not expressing any silence in photos.
I'll be happy to humbly admit
the amount of able hands
I am equipped with,
She'll be a reminder
that work is never over
hard.
She's hitting overdrive
and making quite a pile.
Wipe away the dust
arrange the items 'round the roost
with hopes to
earn some minor points in readiness.
We're the ones centered being stretched
on our wingspan dragging air-less friends.
On a wing, a break down and the other
complaining and naming any little bother.
I'll be the only one who
is always just listening
feeling like a father
in the haunt
in the hideaway
between adulthood
and a nervous breakaway and down.
I'm hitting overdrive
and making quite a pile.
Wipe away the salt
and straighten stance
and tighten hands
holding up the nest
and friends
and do your job.
It would be a mistake to only listen to this during the holidays. I think that this album is a wonderful Brown Bird album on its own and shouldn't be brushed aside just because it's a Christmas album. I don't even like Christmas music, but this is fantastic. Keej
